Terms & Conditions for Sponsorship/Grant Application

1. Eligibility and Application Process

1.1 By applying for sponsorship/grant funding, applicants confirm they meet all eligibility requirements and provide accurate and honest information.

1.2 Applications must be completed in full. Incomplete applications or those with incorrect or misleading information will be rejected.

1.3 Approval of any sponsorship or grant application is subject to thorough assessment by the reviewing committee, based on the criteria outlined in this document.

2. Assessment Criteria

2.1 Applications will be assessed based on the following factors, including but not limited to:

• Alignment with the core mission and objectives of Startups Venture.
• Demonstrated need for funding or sponsorship.
• Potential impact and sustainability of the proposed initiative.
• Track record of the applicant, including previous projects and achievements.
• Feasibility of the project, including a well-defined plan, timelines, and budget.

2.2 All decisions made by the assessment committee are final and at the sole discretion of Startups Venture.

3. Usage and Access Requirements

3.1 Approved applicants will receive login credentials to access relevant sponsorship/grant management platforms.

3.2 The applicant agrees to use the platform regularly and to engage with any updates, requests, or information shared by Startups Venture.

3.3 Termination of Access and Support: If the applicant fails to log in or demonstrate active use of the platform within a period of 90 days, Startups Venture reserves the right to terminate access and withdraw sponsorship/grant support.

4. Accuracy of Information and Consequences of Misrepresentation

4.1 Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all information provided is accurate, complete, and truthful.

4.2 Rejection of Application: If any false declaration or misrepresentation of information is found during the application process, the application will be immediately rejected, and the applicant may be barred from applying for future funding or sponsorship.

4.3 Termination of Sponsorship/Grant Support: If any false declaration or misrepresentation is discovered after the application has been approved, Startups Venture reserves the right to terminate sponsorship/grant support and demand repayment of funds disbursed.

5. Approval and Disbursement of Funds

5.1 Approval of applications does not guarantee immediate disbursement of funds, which will be subject to ongoing compliance with these terms.

5.2 Disbursement may be conditional on specific milestones, reports, or other criteria established by Startups Venture.

5.3 Startups Venture reserves the right to amend or adjust funding disbursements based on the applicant's progress and compliance.

6. Termination and Suspension of Sponsorship/Grant

6.1 Startups Venture reserves the right to terminate or suspend sponsorship/grant support under the following circumstances:

• Violation of any of these Terms & Conditions.
• Discovery of false information or misrepresentation in the application.
• Inactivity or failure to engage with the platform for over 90 days.
• Non-compliance with any post-approval obligations.

6.2 In cases of termination, Startups Venture may seek the return of any unspent funds and may take legal action if necessary.

7. Proof of Establishment and/or Registration

7.1 Upon submission of a sponsorship/grant application, the sponsoring organisation may request proof of establishment and/or registration documents to verify the legitimacy and status of the applicant.

7.2 Applicants are required to provide the requested documentation within a specified time frame. Failure to provide valid proof may result in the rejection of the application.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009.

8.2 By applying for the sponsorship/grant, the applicant agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any additional policies communicated by Startups Venture.
